Jamie drove around the mall parking lot. Her hair in a messy ponytail and an annoyed facial expression on her features. She was not in the mood for someone to take her parking space like they had done last time. Why the hell she was going to the mall by herself on a Sunday afternoon was unknown. It was crazy. Sunday was the day you slept in and ate breakfast in bed and just stay at your house or dorm all day doing nothing but watching cartoons. But Jamie just had to go to the mall, it was her one thing in mind to do that day, even if it meant battling over a stupid parking spot.
She smiled as a space came into her eyesight. She sped up and turned into the space. She had succeeded in finding a space without a battle. What luck. She unlocked the car doors and rolled up her window before she took the keys form the car. She set them in her purse and closed it. She then opened her car door and slipped out of her mustang shutting the door behind her. She slipped on her glasses and walked towered the entrance of the mall. She was determined to waste her day shopping for no reason at all.
It was probably because her father had sent her money for her dorm rent and just for random things, she did appreciate him doing it but it probably wasn't his idea to send it. he could care less for Jamie since her mother had died. Now he had a replacement child and a replacement wife, which Jamie hated purely. When her mother died a piece of Jamie's spirit had to, it was like he other half of her disappeared into thin air leaving Jamie to suffer.
Jamie opened the shiny and clean glass door to the mall. A burst of warmth hit her and she smiled in relief. the warmth felt good on her cold pale skin. The sweatshirt she was wearing hadn't done much to block the cold form nipping at her. She looked around the mall for a moment examining how empty or full it was. At the moment there was an average amount of people there. Some teenagers some just plain people and others elderly. She saw no ones face she knew and continued to walk farther into the mall.
She looked through some windows of skate stores and then continued towered her usual stores. She smiled as Journeys came into site. She loved there clothing lines and there shoes. It was one of her favorite stores. She could look in there for hours without stopping for anything else or at that anyone else, at the moment she was in one of those moods. She walked into the store and smirked. She headed for some zebra striped shoes she examined them. They were purple with black stripes and they came up past your ankles. They were perfect shoes, well to Jamie anyway. She continues to look around grin spreading across her lips. She nodded to the women that asked how she was doing and continued on. She was in her own world ignoring the rest of the cold cruel real world.[/blockquote]

RILEY CHANCE JENNINGS
[Riley] sat on the edge of his bed, his elbows on his knees. His face was pressed into the palms of his hands as he sighed, slowly lifting his head and running his hands through his hair. He sat there thinking in complete serenity, for once. No one was in his apartment for the moment and it was soothing to be able and sit back without hearing the constant chatter from Adam or feeling the need to bicker with Conner. It wasn’t though he disliked Adam’s company or even completely hated bothering Conner because to be honest, both were quite amusing. He just needed the one on one time to think about things and unwind.
[He] shook his head again, he needed to get out and do something. His mind flickered through the numerous different places he could go but nothing appealed to him. “Ugh,” muffled lyrics escaped to himself, flashing through another series of places in his head. It wasn’t until he landed on the idea of heading toward the mall that he looked up.
[Riley] stood up, walking over toward his dresser and shuffling through his shirts. He grabbed a red famous shirt and pulled it over his black wife beater, snagging his studded belt off the top and looping it through the pants already on his legs. Slipping on a pair of black converse on he grabbed the wallet of the top of his dresser aside where his belt had previously been and shoved it in his back pocket. He took a step forward toward the door, paused, then turned back to his dresser. He grabbed the cologne on the top and sprayed himself twice before putting it back down and leaving the dorm room.
[Grabbing] the keys to his Ford Mustang on the way he locked his dorm behind him and then left. Before long he was out the main entrance to the dorms and was stepping into his car. He put the keys in the ignition, revved it to life, and sped out of the parking lot. Once he was in his car it took him a few minutes until he reached the mall. His eyes scanned the filled parking lot looking for a place close to the main entrance, finally settling on a spot that wasn’t too far. He pulled in quickly before putting his car in park and shutting it off. He stepped out, holding his keys in his hands as he pressed the lock button once he’d shut the car behind him.
[He] walked inside the mall, the cool air hitting his face as he came inside. On impulse he began heading toward his favorite store, Journey. Upon reaching it he headed over toward the shoes area, examining them as he moved down the row. He wasn’t paying attention to where he was going, that was until he turned and bumped into a person standing next to him. He looked over finally, speaking as he did so. “Hey, watch where you going you…” his voice trailed off, his eyes narrowing suspiciously. “You’ve got to be kidding me.” His harsh baritones hissed, his gaze locked on none other then Jaime.

Jamie smiled at he choice in shoes. They weren't only perfect but they were also her size so they were beyond prefect. She smiled and was about to walk away when she felt someone bumb into her. She frowned as the shoes fell form her hands. She bent down to pick them up and heard the person talk. Why don't you..asshole she said to him in a pissed off tone. She stood up her face towered her shoes as she brushed them off from hitting the floor.
This person had interrupted her little world of peace and shoes, they were gonna pay. She looked up at the person and her mouth dropped. It was Riley. She listened to his next words and smiled.Nope...By the way why are you in my favorite store? she asked curiously. She would had thought her and Riley didn't like the same stuff considering how much he hated her being around or at least thats how Jamie saw it.
Her smiled turned crooked and she leaned on one foot while letting the shoes stay in one hand. This would be an intersting time at the mall especially since Riley showed up, well that was the only thing that made it special at that moment in time. Jamie would have some fun mocking him or maybe just plain out bothering him, but she would half to find out what his mood was before she could choose which irritating method she would use.[/blockquote]

RILEY CHANCE JENNINGS
[Ri] couldn’t help but chuckle a little as she spat her rude comment, bending down to pick up the shoes he’d caused her to drop. So she did have a bit of a temper, huh? He could work with that. For some reason her snooty comment intrigued him more then it should have. He shook his head briefly as she stood up, her expression changing dramatically. Her mouth was slightly ajar, her expression nearly puzzled. Again another laugh escaped, in more of a harshly amused manner then anything else. She quickly seemed to regain her composure though, that attractive and yet irritating smile creeping across her face. He rolled his eyes as she spoke, his arms crossing over each other. “It just so happens that this is my favorite store too.” His voice was placid, calm and yet ringing with lethal annoyance.
[How] coincidental this was. Jaime was probably the last person he wanted to see right now and yet they ran into each other at a store that happened to be both of their favorites, hmm. He looked away, blocking off his own thoughts as he looked toward her shoes. He’d admit, they were pretty cool, in-fact he particularly liked Jaime’s style in general. At least she had good taste in clothes. “If I’m correct though this entire mall is free to anyone who wants to come in here.” His voice was now sarcastically playful; a smirk pulled at the edges of his lips. “This store isn’t yours sweetcheeks.” He spoke the last word, his little nickname toward her for the moment, as if he was mocking her, and perhaps he was.
[He] noticed Jaime’s own smile turn a bit crocked, into her own smirk of sorts as she leaned on one foot, holding up her shoes. “Nice kicks.” He had to comment them, it was an impulse. Besides, odd and attention drawing clothing were always his favorite, and these zebra stripped shoes were exactly that. He looked away once more, his gaze falling now to the older lady behind the counter that was eyeing the duo almost suspiciously; Riley held in a laughter. “I think she thinks I am going to kill you or something.” His words were quiet so that only Jaime could hear though his gaze was still on the female at the front. After he spoke he slowly turned his eyes back to Jaime, turning his body so that he was completely facing her now, his back toward the woman at the counter.

Jamie hated the way he laughed it was antagonizing. It got on her nerves a little.wow. I never imagined you liking the same stuff i do she said a grin plastered to her lips. She figured that would get to him if not only a little. She was having a hard time with comebacks lately and it was mostly when she talked to him. It seemed as if there was no use for them considering he usually came up with a better one that Jamie would half to top to make herself feel proud and successful. He was getting better at the game of which Jamie had started. She was liking the fact that he made it a little more complicated to win at her game of which she played with almost everyone.
Jamie listened to the comments he made silently. she thought to herself for a moment before continuing.I know and i never said it was mine she said her face smug and happy at the moment. She hadn't noticed the little names he'd given her off and on through some of there conversations. They dint bother Jamie she was used to it or at least she was used to Riley saying it or it just felt right well its one of those answers. Jamie loved to be around people she knew not necessarily Riley but he would half to do for the moment. At least he was amusing.
Jamie smiled proudly as Riley commented her shoes.Thank you she said closing her eyes for a slight second. Riley seemed irregularly nice today. Or it was just what Jamie considered nice coming from Riley. Jamie opened her eyes to see Riley looking in the other direction. She followed his gaze to the lady at the counter. She looked back at him he faced her.It could happen she remarked with a playful smirk that had a taunting tent to it.[/blockquote]

RILEY CHANCE JENNINGS
Again Riley rolled his eyes to her comment, that annoying voice filling his head. It was becoming too familiar, too regular. Thoughts began to whirl within his head again, she’s pretty, look at the way her smile lights up her face, and her laugh isn’t so bad. He closed his eyes for a moment, though this would block of the thoughts. There was no way in hell he thought anything about her was completely attractive. Sure she was pretty cute, yeah she had a pretty good sense of style, but that was it. He opened his eyes again, looking at Jaime as he spoke. “Why is that?” His eyes were locked onto her own as he waited for her response.
While her voice flowed through the air once more he could help but notice how delicate her features were, the shape of her lips, the way the lipgloss shined over them. She looked pretty kissable. He shook his head again, fighting with himself internally. Kiss her, as if. Even Lacey was prettier then her. He paused, thinking about what he’d just said. No, he was wrong. He wouldn’t lie to himself, about this anyway. Jaime was simply gorgeous, and that was that. “I suppose you have me there. You technically never said it was yours. Though you spoke as though implying I shouldn’t be here.” He expression was taunting, his voice holding the tone of ‘I told you so.’ Riley was always someone who thought he had to be right, or he had to try and prove that he was right. Whether or not the topic of debate was really worth it or not. He held an argumentative personality and he knew that. He actually liked to argue though; he liked to see the look on people’s faces as he proved them wrong, as Ri hardly ever lost a fight, vocal or physical.
The smile that now covered Jaime’s face as Ri commented her shoes was absolutely dazzling. He had to look away to reply. “Yeah, uh, you’re welcome.” It bothered him how nice he was being. It was almost as though he had to put up an effort to keep his jackass shell up, to make sure his comments held a rude layer to them. He wasn’t used to that. Once he’d shifted his physique so his back faced the lady he once again returned his gaze to Jaime. “Oh please.” He paused; rolling his eyes once more though this time it was in an amused manner rather then annoyed.
He inhaled deeply, his chest rising and falling with the action. He’d even caught a scent of Jaime’s perfume; it was fruity, leaving her to smell nearly edible. Hmm… “I may be an ass but killing you is completely out of the question.” He didn’t look again but he could feel the strangers gaze on his back, he nearly wanted to turn around and yell at her. “I don’t know about you but I am getting pretty sick of this lady staring at me. How about you go buy those shoes so we can get out of this store, eh?” Just as soon as he’d spoke he wanted to take back the words. This is when he hated speaking whatever came to his mind. Had he really just nearly asked her to go with him somewhere else? Oh great…

Jamie waited for Riley's response partially. He seemed deep in thought so she stayed quiet for once. She looked up at him as he spoke again his words filling her head. She met his gaze and looked to the floor watching one of her feet move around a Little.well, i thought you hated me she said her tone holding strength but at the same time it had some doubt in it. She looked back up at him meeting his gaze once more. She had a smile barely noticeable now. She had never thought about how Riley felt about her just the fact that he didn't enjoy it when she was around or at least she didn't think he enjoyed her company.
Jamie kept a straight face as Riley spoke. His taunting tone hit Jamie's ears and she smiled. She loved the way his voice sounded when he had a great comeback.Oh fuck why am i all of a sudden thinking about that. Hes the guy that didn't like me from the start and yet i could call him hot even after he was the biggest asshole id ever met. Jamie shook the thought form her mind only to have another race to it again. Why is he being nice. Its scaring, hes never nice. Jamie looked up at him again the thoughts disappearing as she met his gaze.
She watched as Riley looked away as he spoke to her. What the fuck, oh no he cant he couldn't The thought went to Jamie's mind immediately. The only reasons a boy would look away was if they were ashamed or if they liked someone. Eek! Why does he half to like me, if he even does. The thoughts continued in Jamie's mind till she heard Riley's sweet lyrics again. This time they seemed a bit annoyed.
A she continued Jamie was a little shocked even though it didn't show. Usually he would've said something rude to follow her comment about him killing her.OK. I don't think thats what you would had replied last week she said a hint of irritation in her voice. Jamie's eyes stretched wide at his words. We? he never says we. oh my god he said we. Jamie got giddy and smiled. She didn't want to pull a smart ass comment he actually wanted to hangout with her for once. How amazing was that. maybe her thoughts were true maybe she wasn't just kidding herself.OK she said her voice proud and happy. It was as thought the past few days had never happened and they were all of a sudden friends. Jamie basically skipped to the register. She gave the lady cash and took her shoes in a bag the women had given her. She walked back over to Riley controlling herself form smiling to much and jumping up and down.So were did you have in mind to go? Jamie asked d a curious expression across her features.[/blockquote]

RILEY CHANCE JENNINGS
A brow over his facials as she responded. The sudden urge to tell her instantly how far from true that was nearly overwhelmed him though he bit his tongue. “What would hate have to do with having anything in common?” His lyrics, for once, held no taunting edge to them. If anything they were purely curious. He hadn’t been that rude to her, had he? He didn’t think he had had been, but you never knew. He shrugged momentarily, biting his lip ring as he continued to think. Why should it matter how he acted to her? Why should it matter if Jaime thought that he hated her? She was just another girl. Another person to annoy him, another person to bother him, another face in the crowd, right?
Something inside him ached, though trying to make him see that he was wrong. Oh so very wrong. Something about this female before him was slowly taking hold, tediously growing on him, and in more ways then he ever imagined. There seemed to be a pause between them in that moment. Like both of them couldn’t find anything to say, or both of them were thinking. He stayed quiet, he would wait until she spoke. He would wait to hear what she said, and for the first time in his life he almost couldn’t wait. His sudden desire to hear her voice was almost as strong as the desire he had at this moment just to touch her. Trace his hand along her jaw, run his fingers through her hair, even just ‘bump’ into her again.
He was going crazy. He was thinking about this too much. So he was thankful when she finally spoke up again. Not only did it distract him from his tormenting thoughts for the moment but also it fulfilled one of his previous longings. She’s spoken. Her voice filled his mind now, the voice he was starting to adore, and yet the voice that would ruin him in the end. Yes, she would ruin him. He couldn’t like her. Looking up to meet her gaze his eyes locked within hers, his hold intense.
His arms crossed over one another, his muscles taunt. It seemed to be the only way he could keep his hands to himself right now; the other unfulfilled urge was overpowering. “I don’t think so either.” He mumbled quietly, nearly inaudibly to himself. He wondered if she had ever heard him but he shrugged it off as her excitement to his other offer, that they go somewhere else, grew. He couldn’t help but allow a smile of his own to control his facials; it was almost aggravating how easy it was to be happy around her. He nodded to her next one worded reply and watched her nearly bounce to the counter. She looked just as elated as him, if not more so. He even had to hold back a laughter as Jaime almost threw her money at the lady behind the counter before grabbing her bagged shoes and skipping back. Her next question rolled into his auditors, causing the smile on his face to widen. “I’m a bit hungry, let’s go get some food? I know a great Asian-style restaurant in here.” He paused, his head tilting a little to the right. “Unless you don’t like Asian food.” He began walking forward then, only mildly pausing to turn and make sure she was following.

Ive got a letter i would like to send. Its lacking strings of words with punctuation at the end. But should i trust this dialect, To convey the right effect?
Jamie had way to many nasty comebacks for the hate deal, even though it hadn't been a comeback situation. What did her mean hate and love didn't go with likes and dislikes. Jamie could see how they went together. Of course her father always relied on stuff like that.Well, if i do recall i said i couldn't imagine you liking the same stuff as me and you asked why and i told, its cause i thought you hated me. That sounds like a perfectly reasonable answer to me. Jamie ended it with a curt nod showing that she had made a reasonable and intelligent point.
Er why did i half to meet him in the first place. We hated each other and now he has to come off all nice. What if he just fucks me over like he did with Lydia. Theres so many opinions and yet one only seems reasonable to me he likes me. the thoughts continued in her head even through her talking to Riley his sweet sweet voice no longer drowned out the unpleasant thoughts. It was like a nightmare that wouldn't end. She was afraid to show feelings for the boy, what if he rejected her would she take it personally. Jamie kept most personal thoughts to herself when she could. It was hard to but she found this one quite easy to be kept locked up in her mind. Jamie decided she should forget it, if she kept thinking it she would blurt it out on accident and never forgive her self.
Jamie had been looking at Riley the whole time shed been thinking; only hearing certain words he spoke. The thoughts were gonna half to leave or she wouldn't be able to live right. Jamie blinked and started to talk Yeah its fine she said a smile on her lips as she walked up to his side. She gripped the bag in her right hand twirling it back and fourth till spun around her fingers causing them to loose blood circulation. Jamie walked next to him silently.how have i gotten on his good side, what did i do? Jamie couldn't figure it out it was a mystery to her. How had he gone form pure jackass to half a gentle men and he was taking her somewhere to eat what happened to the person that didn't like me sitting with them at lunch Jamie bit her lip purposely. It messed up her lip gloss a bit but she didn't care. Jamie bit harder onto her lip causing it to bleed a little. It didn't hurt all that much. She let the blood slid into her mouth. Jamie liked the taste of blood, it was a weird habit but as Riley had said she had a lot of weird habits and what not.She licked the blood from the outside of her lip covering up the cut she had made into it. She looked straight ahead trying to keep her gaze from wandering towered Riley. He was perfect, tattoos everywhere piercings,he could play music, whats not to love. Oh wait the fact that hes a dick head but oh well maybe he could change. Jamie hated these thoughts they were starting to get on her bad side. She looked over to Riley trying to drown them out. Do you come to the mall a lot? she asked trying to start a conversation to drown the thoughts from her mind. [/blockquote]

RILEY CHANCE JENNINGS
[He] uncrossed his arms and let them fall to his sides. They rested there loosely before he tucked them in his pockets, his fingers running over the stray lighter in the middle of his hoodie pocket. He suddenly longed for a cigarette, and as he inhaled his throat burned with a desire for nicotine. He absentmindedly began to gnaw the inside of his cheek, not even realizing he was doing so until it began to bleed. He stopped then, running his tongue lightly over the small wound he’d made by accident. He nearly began to chew the inside of his cheek again though he stopped himself this time when Jaime began to speak. His countenance contorted into a more amused expression. “I suppose that makes sense, in some ways.” A pause broke his words, his right hand leaving his pocket to run through his elongated dreads. “Though, I could love everything you did and hate you all the same. Or I could completely loathe everything you liked and yet adore you.” He smirked then, his own point being made.
[When] her attractive voice rang into his ears once more he nodded approvingly. “Good, I’d hate to take you somewhere you didn’t like.” He chords, playful yet serious released far too gently into the atmosphere for his liking. What the fuck was happening to him? Just a few weeks ago he could barely stand Jaime and now he was taking her out to dinner? How did that work? No, he hated her. He hated this beautiful, witty, fearless, bold, opinionated, perfect female before him. He hated her with ever fiber in his body; but if that was the case, then why did he feel like this? Why did his heart jump every time she spoke, why did her smile dazzle him, why did he look forward to hearing every sarcastic and amusing remark to escape her lips. No, he didn’t hate her. As much as he wanted to, as much as he thought he should. Riley was far from hating this female before him.
[As] they walked side by side out of the store Riley ignored the unsure glances from the too nosey stranger behind the counter. His steps were even, matching hers so he didn’t lag behind or get ahead of Jaime. Once again both of his hands were in his pockets, it seemed the only way he could stop himself from grabbing her hand at the moment. “Uhh… sometimes.” Again a cessation cut off his words, it was almost as though he didn’t know what to say around her. He sighed silently, following the right turn of the malls pathway. “Maybe once every few weeks or so, when I have the time.” He looked over to Jaime when he finished speaking. “What about you?”
[Even] though their topic of conversation wasn’t all that interesting Riley was far from bored. Every time she spoke it gave him another little look as to what kind of person she was, it helped him understand her a little more. It seemed impossible for him to get bored of her, at least for the moment. Everything about her seeming entirely fascinating. Looking forward again Riley saw the sign for the restaurant he’d been looking for up ahead, a small smile appearing on his lips. “There it is.” Ri remarked, crossing the malls isle and walking through the already open doors, all the while making sure Jaime was still by his side.
