you'll never see me without my; Lydia's style is definitely impulsive, random, loud, bright, and whatever her mind can come up with. She's not the type of person who stands in front of their closet for hours wonder, 'what am I going to wear today?'. The girl is lucky enough to grab a few items and somehow always make them into an outfit. Silver jewelery is her favorite in stars and bright fake flowers she can put in her hair. Arm warmers adorn her arms depending on she's feel in a variety or colors and some striped. She has scarves, bracelets, crowns, high heeled shoes, hats, cute hoodies, feathered boas, ruffly skirts, tights, high socks, anything you could possibly name. Her closet is like a costume store that is full of different items and accessories. She does always go crazy with what she's wearing but it isn't odd to see her with the most random clothing. In a way, it's another technique she uses to express herself.
Her hair is probably one of the first things you notice. Since she was eleven she began dying her hair, perfecting it. She can a rainbow of colors and every few weeks when her brown hair begins to come back changes the color. Cotton candy blue, dark blue, teal, bright red, purple, pink, and orange are the usual colors. She enjoys change and that is even further demonstrated by this striking arrangement. Like her hair she does change up her make-up a lot. She can one day have heavy mascara neat and clean, and the next purposefully smear it. These tints on her pale complexion make her further stand out. And unlike the many wannabes she can show off the look beautifully.

unlike people who are extremely clingy or dependent on friends, family, boyfriends, etc, Lydia is her own person. She believes in order to survive in the world all you can count on is yourself. There are people she is willing to befriend or like, but it obvious she's a very confident girl that can take care of herself. If you piss her off she won't send her friends, if she gets into some crap she'll fix it herself, and she had problems she'll blame herself. Her issues are her own and she'll rarely throw them on to other peoples plates. She'll happily listen to others and help them, but it's not usual that this kind of conversation with happen with her blabbing out for aid. Some people admire this part of Lydia, while others believe it's unhealthy for someone her age to completely cut others off
..happy/
yes, she's happy. Unlike some of the mopes around school, she is pretty optimistic most of the times. She thinks logically, yet she isn't afraid to look at the silver lining in certain situations. Even though she doesn't allow people to see her sad or a few other emotions, she isn't afraid to laugh or smile. This also plays a big part on how she can easily goof off or act almost playful around her friends or random strangers. She's just plain out happy and isn't afraid to show it. She'll dance in the middle of the sidewalk, sing to her iPod, flirt with random people she sees, tease the teachers, and can make a punchline out of anything. Her life hasn't been grand, but she doesn't allow the people that hurt her make her unhappy.
..enclosed/
she will never spill out her guts or cry till her eye make-up is smeared. If she ever did cry it definitely be in her dorm room alone where no one can see her. It's not that she's afraid of showing her emotions and opening up, she just doesn't like the idea that someone could potentially use them against her. This doesn't make her cold and rock solid, but it's a lot more difficult to squeeze secrets or personal feelings out of her. People that try should chisel at her rock exterior slowly as if they rush her to open up she'll definitely close them off forever.
..rebellious/
you tell her to something and she'll do the opposite. Why? Cause it's fun. It's entertaining to see rich snobs or idiots try to command her to do something and she just flicks them off or sticks out her tongue. She's in control of herself, thank-you-very-much. The day she can go the moon is when she'll actually follow a warning or the rules authority figures throw at her. Teachers equally have trouble holding her down as she is a free spirit. Her mind is her own and she doesn't believe they have a right to tell her what to do.
..eye-for-an-eye/
lydia is far from incapable to defend herself. If you piss her off she will hurt you both mentally and physically. She doesn't care if Gandhi said “an eye for and eye will make the whole world blind.” As long as she plucks out everyone else's eye first than maybe she get away with both of hers. The girl can be very tempered and it isn't wise to make her mad. If a friend needs defending she'll be right by his/her side, ready to pound the crap out of the attacker. The thought of later getting in trouble for her deeds never crosses her mind, and isn't the type of person not to commit revenge. She'll goes as fair as making another person cry if that's what it takes to burn the anger in her body and what she see as a suitable payback
..creative/
music has always been her thing since she was a child. She loves singing, playing the keyboard, and now is a disk jockey. Being an artist or just doing creative or out of the ordinary things is just part of her personality. Someone might give you a bundle of flowers while she'd give you message written in petals. The girl is hardly lazy and will go the extra mile just to make an idea a little more beautiful or heartfelt.

it's like hell but only faster; Lydia was born in a fairly comfortable lifestyle. She lived in a well furnished house, had maids and nannies, surrounded by rich literature and art, and her mom stayed at home. The first few years were relaxed and her parents didn't ask much of her except to see her smile. They were both fairly nice, even if her dad was always out, and there family wasn't close to dysfunctional. Every seemed very happy until he parents began to pressure her about the future. They wanted her to do a career in law or medicine. At the young age of nine they kept asking her rhetorical questions about what she wanted to be when she grew up. When she said something acting or music they would always scold or scowl at her. It become obvious to her that she wouldn't get her voice heard that easily.
Part of her parents plan of 'developing' her young mind was to master an instrument. Her parents were very conservative, making Lydia is her young life always wear plaid skirts and colored blouses, and wanted something classical. They introduced her to both the piano and the violin, which she didn't take well to right away. After a few weeks she realized she did enjoy playing on there grand piano, but not the boring classic sheets her parents through at her. Instead she began writing her own music at the age of eight, with the help of her piano tutor. The violin, on the other hand, never blossomed. The whole instrument really annoyed her and one day she just dropped it and wouldn't pick it up again. To replace it, when her parents weren't around she began to sing while playing the piano, giving another feeling of how doing something in music might be very enjoyable.
At the age of ten her clothes began to change drastically as she became less influenced by her parents. They had completely sheltered her life, going to a private school, and because she wasn't allowed out often didn't have many friends. It shouldn't have surprised them the days where her mother took her to tea parties, forcing her to wear dresses to gatherings, and forcing her to only care about her education would finally make her snap. She began hanging out with her only best friend, dragging her over even when her parents didn't like her, and getting into mischief. The meaning of friendship was tested when Lydia was eleven, understanding that not everyone is the same way as you seem the on the outside. In her kitchen one day with Lydia and her closest day, she confronted the girl about spreading rumors about her around the school. What the rumors were doesn't really matter, what matters is she admitted she had and wouldn't apologize. For awhile Lid had suspicions of her 'best friend' lately, always wanting to come over and play with her stuff. In away she was beginning to feel like the other girl was using her for her money.
This accusations sent the other girl yelling, picking up a thick flower vase on the counter and throwing it on the ground between the to of them. In reaction Lydia jumped back before yelling at the girl again, asking her if she was crazy. The other girl turned around and head for the door and Lydia began to follow, attempting to avoid the glass, but missing some clear water that had settle on the floor. Slipping she landed on the shattered pieces on glass on her side, immediately screaming in pain. Piece of it had made sharp incisions in her left leg and right shoulder, and when she asked her friend for help, she left. She was so pissed off she just left Lydia groveling in pain. Eyes water she cried for help and finally a maid hearing all the commotion came down and called 911. The girl doesn't have much recollection of what happened next. She was taken to the hospital where they drugged her so much she couldn't grasp anything. The entire time she felt sick, for being both betrayed and not being in control of what was happening around her.
Two years later all the scars had healed up, except the one over her heart. She become more independent then she had been before hand, afraid to trust anyone with anything. Between that time she had avoided that 'friend' of hers and tried to ignore the secrets she had told the girl flying around the school. Instead she began focusing on music again and changing who she once was. This is the period when she began to wear what her parents would call 'outrageous' clothes, dying her hair, and persuading someone to give her a lip piercing. She began to show people her musical talents, even singing in front of an audience, and at the age of fourteen went to her first club. Usually the club wouldn't allow young teenagers, but the way Lydia held herself with confidence and just look plain out unique made her look older. She got her first taste of disk jockeying, coming up to one of the dj's at the club. He talked to her for a bit and told her to come early the next day to show him what talent she really had.
The next day the dj was pretty surprised that a girl her age already grasped some ideas of how to being a dj. He gave her a few pointers the next few days, and let her stand right next to him to show her how it was done. Putting her own rhythm into it along with her own style she preformed on day at a club going by DJ Panic. At fifteen she landed herself a position in this sweet club and a job when she's in sole control. For months she was having fun, her parents yelling not to 'throw her life away' but she easily smiling and ignoring them. One night while she was taking a break an older boy by a few years came up to her and began flirting. She flirted back, easily falling for his cute looks and charm. He asked her out that night and she as quick to obliged. They dated for a few weeks, and he was one of the few people she opened up too in a long time. Lydia was seriously in love with him as he seemed to be a total romantic. What she did begin to notice was more and more she had to tell the club she couldn't make it as they were going out on a date that day or he just wanted to spend time with her that day. She found it weird of all days in the week he was only open her disk jockeying days.
After awhile her club called her and told her that she was fired. They couldn't take how she was always absent and was always distracted. Upset she went to her boyfriend for comfort only to notice he was giving her the cold shoulder and had all the sudden it became awkward between them. At first she thought he wasn't answering her calls or wanted to see her because he only liked her when she was a DJ. Nearly giving up she went back to the club to get her final paycheck, already hearing she had been replaced and the person who replaced her was working that night. Going into the dancing area he eyes widened when she saw the DJ. It was her old boyfriend. She had had no idea he was a DJ. Like any pissed off girl wanted to make one last stand, she walked up to him while he was DJ, ignoring the yells of the other club managers for her to stop. Up there her ex gave her a embarrassed smile, shrugging. He shrugged. That's all he could do for using her and stealing her job, stand there like an idiot. Sucker punching him into the nose, she yelled a few malicious words, kicked him in the crouch, and left.
It wasn't long before she found a new job at a different club by the age of fifteen, but the damage was done. Yet another person had backstabbed her and now she felt that she couldn't only open up to her friends, but the people she believed she loved. Connection with her parents was totally cut off only coming home to get clothes or some of her old stuff, and leaving without a good-bye. Her dorm room in Darmon was her only home now and she could make her own money too. Now seventeen, Lydia is a extremely independent woman, only relying on herself because she believes no one else can be trusted.
