Connor's never been the sort of person that has to work on their body, but he does anyway. He's a naturally lean guy, which he gets from both parents, and he can pretty much eat whatever he wants and not worry about it. Of course, that doesn't satisfy him at all and he spends most of his free time in the gym. As a gymnast he needs to not only be skinny, but to be strong as well. After years and years of working on himself, Connor would say that he's got a lot to show for it. His chest, arms, shoulders, abs, and legs are all very muscular and defined, and you can bet that he shows it off whenever he gets the chance. However, he's never really gotten too built or beefy because he's a strict vegetarian. It's been hard on his body before, the lack of protein, but he compensates by drinking a lot of protein shakes and eating lots of eggs and nuts and the like.
hair & face;
It seemed, even from an early age, that Connor would grow up to be a very... pretty boy. He definately has strong and masculine features, like his jawline and cheekbones, but other than that his look is rather effeminate. His eyes are large and round and his lips are very full and pink. Plus his hair is of a very soft texture, and he usually wears it a little bit longer, towards his ears. He had a lot of trouble with his skin when he was a teenager: he used to break out a lot. That's what you get for having very fair skin. Now he works really hard to protect his skin from oil and the sun, so it staes kind of pale and creamy. He's always thought being tan was overrated anyway. But even with his slightly girly attributes, there's no mistaking him for a girl. He's definately got that all-american boy, abercrombie and fitch look going for him, which he publically denounces and privately enjoys.
style;
Connor is all about fashion and looking good. He's very proud of the body he's worked so hard on, so he likes to show it off by dressing "nice" as he calls it. He's never really had a problem with this either, because he grew up very wealthy and was always able to buy clothes from very expensive places. This taste carries over to now: he likes collard shirts and really nice jeans and sweaters and all that jazz. When just relaxing he'll wear any old t-shirt, but that's pretty rare for him. He enjoys fashion and ignores people who say that he's gay because he likes to keep himself groomed. He never was one for labels.

Connor is not one person to some people and another person to other people. He is 24/7 Connor James. He will never tell you anything different. He is the same to strangers as he is to his friends; he hides nothing. Everything is very out in the open with Connor. He doesn't think it's neccessary to pretend that you're something you're not. He can get what he wants in much easier, more effective ways. No one ever has to guess with Connor. You always know what his motives are, and most people can predict what he's going to do or say next, purely from experience.
loyal;
When you're a friend of Connor's, you're a friend for life. He values friendship over everything else and always makes times for those he loves. He's not afraid to show how much he cares about his friends and won't hesitate to just reach out and give them a big hug. He absolutely adores his friends and won't do anything to hurt them. And if someone tries to mess with them? Forget about it. Connor will fight anybody if they wrong one of his friends, even if it was Jesus or something. Even when he knows his friends are wrong, he'll still defend them.
romantic;
Roses, chocolates, you name it, Connor's done it. When he gets into a relationship, he really goes all out. Besides being incredibly touchy-feely with his partners, he spoils them to death. He's actually been dumped before because he was "smothering" some girl. He just feels like he has to express his passion for other people before they slip away. And he never takes break ups too hard, because he really does just enjoy the experience of being in a relationship. Despite being a jock, Connor really is rather sentimental, and likes warm and fuzzy things.
arrogant;
Connor definately does not have insecurity issues. He knows he's the shit and flaunts it. It's actually a surprise that he's so cocky, because he was never a very spoiled kid when he was younger. Sure he had a lot of stuff, but he never got much affection. The fact that he is so egotistical shows that he's compensating for something. Deep down, he's still got a lot of issues with himself and ihs parents, and by acting like he's the best thing around, he sometimes forgets that. He can definately get way too into himself, though, and people start getting annoyed. He knows what he's doing, but he can't help it: he just really likes himself.
athlete;
Most of Connor's time is spent at the gym, perfecting his body and his trade. He's all about sports. He'll always be found watching the football, baseball, or basketball game, whenever it's on. He's had his team preferences since he was a young child, and he's a die hard fan. Connor's idea of fun is going to a game and cheering as loud as possible. But besides watching sports, he absolutely loves partaking in them. He's played nearly every sport, but had an affinity for gymnastics since he first tried it. He loves the adrenaline of flipping over backwards or swinging from the uneven bars. He's been involved in the sport for around six years now and he really hopes to become good enough to just qualify for the next Olympics.
manipulative;
In Connor's books, it's his way or the highway. And he always gets his way. His parents were so easily pushed over when he was younger that he really didn't have anyone to practice his controlling on until high school. There, he and his teachers did not have a very symbiotic relationship. Connor just knows how to charm his way out of homework and trouble. He can have oodles of charm when he wants to. He's actually very witty and funny, which he uses to his advantage. Connor knows exactly how much power he holds over people, and uses it whenever he can. And when ever he's told no, he gets very upset.
friendly & outgoing;
Connor has never had a shortage of friends. He makes friends very easily, by just being himself. He is usually very nice and friendly to anybody that he meets. And besides, he really is a fun guy. He loves going out to parties and just having a good time. Indeed, Connor has always been the "popular" one at school, always surrounded by a crowd of people. But his friendship did not just extend to the popular and preppy kids. No, he could very easily cross into many different cliques and get along with everyone just fine. It was pretty exhausting, actually, having so many people to talk to, but it definately made Connor feel loved.

it's like hell but only faster;
When Martin Evans married for the first time, he thought it was going to be for life. He had just turned twenty-two and was quickly working his way up the ladder at work. He was thoroughly in love with his new wife, and couldn't be happier. The two settled down in Philadelphia with the dreams of starting a family: dreams that would shortly become reality. As they invited their three children into their small family, things got steadily tougher. Money wasn't an issue, but the marriage was strained under the pressures of raising three children. Martin was always at work and rarely saw his wife or kids anymore. He was earning promotion after promotion and was soon on his way to taking over the company. But with a higher status came more problems. His co-workers were not the most honest of people and soon Martin was immersed in scandal and controversy. Luckily for him he was able to hold on to his job, but he could say the same about his wife. She left him, after eight years of marriage, when she realized that Martin was having an affair with his secretary. It was a difficult time in his life, but Martin always had Alexis to keep him company.
Alexis had always been kind of trampy, even when growing up. She was not above using her body to get what she wanted, and indeed, that's how she acquired most things in her life. Sleeping with the boss was just another thing she did to get ahead, but, unluckily for her, it also saddled her with a husband and a kid. Martin was a very charming man, after all, and convinced her to marry him. Once she did, she was set for life. Martin was now the highest paid person at the company, and Alexis never had to work again. She quickly sunk herself into a life of excessive comfort and material things. A year into their marriage, however, Alexis found out she was pregnant, and couldn't have been less thrilled about it. For nine months she watched herself get fatter and fatter, while she could only sit back and watch. When Connor did come eventually, the only joy it brought to her was that she was finally going to be able to get her figure back. She immediately hired a nanny to take care of her infant son, while she turned to booze and men to ease the fact that she wasn't getting any younger. Martin was working constantly, never seeming to have a day off.
So little Connor was in the care of Miss Ramona, as he called her. He didn't mind, not at all. Ramona gave him all the motherly affection that should've been given to him by his own mom. She bought him toys (with Mr. Evans' money) and brought him to baseball games and the like. Soon though, she was starting a family of her own and didn't have as much time for Connor anymore. While Ramona was on maternity leave, Connor was just eight years old, and had to start taking care of himself. He quickly came across a burning hatred for his parents, which has dulled and shrunken with each passing year, but which is still there. He had to feed himself, look after himself, and even take care of his drunken mother by himself. Ramona, while still present, was not as dominant in his life as she once had been, though he still visited her house often for dinner or birthday parties. He fell in love with her family, which was so big and close. They were warm and loving towards one and other, something Connor always envied, even when he had become part of it; he always felt like an outsider.
When his parents did trouble themselves enough to actually be around their son, it was never pleasant. It was obvious to anybody that the two were only together for the sake of being together. Martin wanted someone to run the house and hire the help and Alexis wanted someone to pay the bills. Connor, of course, just wanted his parents, and for the longest time he kept on hoping that they might be a normal family someday. When he became a teenager, though, he realized that that was never going to happen. His father barely existed to him anymore and his mother would spend the nights at random men's houses. It was, ironically enough, his mother that got him into gymnastics. Six years ago she dropped him off at the gym to just shoot around while she went out wherever, and forgot to pick him up. He was stuck there for a while, but as he waited, a gymnastics class started and he asked if he could join in. The instructor was pretty cool and let him do it, and Connor was hooked ever since.
As soon as Connor reached the appropriate age, Alexis had him shipped off to Darmon. They were rich enough, and Connor had become good enough at gymnastics, to be able to get him in easily. It was a relief for both parent and child. Alexis now had the house to her self, and could romp around with whatever boy toy she so pleased. And Connor was living on his own, out of that big, empty house, with a chance to find real people who would care about him genuinely. His father, on the other hand, didn't even know Connor had gone away to school for the first couple of weeks. He was too busy with whatever the hell he does for a living. Now, Connor only has to see his parents on vacations and stuff, which is surprisingly great. He gets along with his mother much more after knowing that he's going to be leaving her shortly anyway. And it gives him a chance to see Ramona, to whom he is entirely grateful for giving him a home and a mother.

you must be smelling your own crotch;
Thin wisps of smoke curled and floated up in front of his face, lingering for just enough time to mesmerize him before disappearing. They would reappear, however, in just a few moments when he took another drag off his cigarette and sent them spiralling into the atmosphere again. There was something so surreal about smoke: how could anything be so fragile that it could be destroyed by one wave of your hand and at the same time it was very possibly sending you to an early death. This was a fact that Jett did not seem to worried about. He figured that dying at the hands of a cigarette was much more appealing than dying at the hands of another person. But that was just how Jett was.
Jett was also on his way to a graveyard, just for fun. So you can tell how sane he is. But really, there might not be any place more theraputic than a cemetery, if you think about it. It's so peaceful, especially when you go on a good day, where no one's sobbing annoyingly at some random headstone. Honestly, do you really think the dead want to hear all that racket? Jett shook his head at this thought, tossing his cigarette to the ground and grinding it in with his foot. He made his way through the gates and into the large cemetery, drawing his tweed coat closer around him. It was cold, even for Jett's standard, who always rather favored cooler temperatures. Beside the coat he had on a long, warm scarf, a hat that covered his mop-like hair, and a sweatshirt, only the hood of which could be seen.
He let out a loud intake of breath as he stopped at a headstone, the name going unrecognized in his eyes. Instantly he started coming up with a life that this person possibly could have had. Smiling as he sat down on the ground, leaning against the headstone, a thought occurred to him: the life he made up was probably much better than this poor chump's. It made him think about his own life, and how he wanted some future person to make up a better life for him, too. Shaking these morose and depressing thoughts out of his head, Jett settled in. The stone was actually a pretty good shelter from the wind, and the quiet was relaxing. Thoughts raced into his head, and Jett let them come, and then let them pass. Things were getting a bit crazy in his life, and he needed this time to himself.
