throw it all away, throw it all away. i keep on screaming, but there's really nothing left to say. A smile broke across her face as she clicked her laptop shut. She leaned back into her pillows and stared at the ceiling, feeling just as happy as ever. She rolled over, hitting the wall that her bed was pushed up against. She stared out the window and spotted students running around downstairs. She didn't move for a few minutes before forcing herself to push her legs over the edge of the bed. She was going to get picked up by Aaron. Butterflies fluttered in her stomach, which was rare for her. She ignored them as she went to her bathroom and changed into a cute outfit. She looked at her reflection as she picked up her comb.
She ran it rapidly and oddly through her hair and hairsprayed it to keep it teased. She smiled, loving the cute way it was styling for her today. She picked up a white bow from her drawer and clipped it into her hair. She smiled and lined her bottom and top eyelids with eyeliner. She was fast as she applied her makeup. She grabbed her iPhone from the counter where it was charging and sat down with it on her bed. She had to wait a few minutes, but she kept staring at her reflection in her full-length mirror. She sighed, tucking some hair behind her ear. She stared out the window, but then the vibration from her iPhone startled her. She hoped it was him, but it was just Lucy, one of her friends.
She responded quickly and sighed yet again. This was rather tedious. Finally, she decided to just go wait outside. She grabbed her keys from the desk top and shoved them into her pockets. She pulled on her black and white Roxy shoes and left the dorm room. She skipped down the stairs, feeling like a little kid again. She always was going to be. Aja was a young girl and she was young at heart. She loved being silly sometimes. It was why she joined theatre. She could be herself or anyone she wanted to be. She shrugged it off as she walked through the campus. She tried to scan the parking lot for Aaron, but she had no luck. Where was the kid? She couldn't answer that question, but she sat down on a low, brick wall right outside the school in front of the parking lot.
She wanted to text him, but she didn't exactly have his number. Instead, she waited, but then she had hope as a car pulled up with dark windows. Please, please, please be him. She loved hanging out with him and couldn't bear to not see him.

Aaron grinned at the MacBook on his desk, staring at the screen. Finally. A few months after Mariah - his only real relationship, even though it had never worked out - he'd found a girl who he really, genuinely liked. Not for her body, not for her experience - he didn't know anything about her sexual life, maybe she was a virgin too. No. She was perfect in every way. Of course, she was beautiful, but she had a personality, too. Mariah had been nice and all...but she'd frustrated him because she never talked about herself.
Aaron pushed the thoughts of his ex out of his mind and put his hands behind his head. He was already dressed - dark wash jeans, a muscle-hugging (and he didn't have the bodybuilder type of muscles, but he did have enough to make girls stare) black tee, and plain black Converse All-stars. He stood up to glance in the mirror behind him before smoothing out his hair, which was in a mess. His smile grew wider by the second - he had never been this hyped up about a girl, ever. Not even with Mariah. He already knew Aja wouldn't act the same - she had already told him her deepest secret just five minutes ago. Finding a white jacket with random prints on it, he pursed his lips. Would it be cold, or warm enough not to wear it. He sighed, putting it on just in case, and grabbed his phone - a silver EnV - and stuffed it into his pocket, nodding at his roommate before closing the laptop and walking quickly out the door.
Aaron checked the time on his phone - he had four minutes. With one hand in his pocket and the other holding his phone, he looked through his texts. Suddenly the phone vibrated and he read the text message, hoping it was Aja. But it was just Lili - and he didn't have Aja's number anyways. He smiled and shook his head, responding quickly, before snapping his phone shut and taking the stairs down to the ground level. He walked out into the night - it was reasonably warm, but not warm enough to take off the jacket. Walking quickly into the parking lot, Aaron dug into his jeans for his keys and pressed the unlock button. The dark BMW beeped twice and flashed its lights. He opened the door and slid in, glancing around the car. Good thing he'd cleaned it a couple days ago...and having rich drunks for parents did help sometimes. You got a cool car for your eighteenth birthday.
He smiled and revved it up, listening to the purring sound. After six months, he still couldn't get over the difference from his old car...Aaron shivered and backed out of the parking space, driving around to the front of the parking lot. There she was, looking as great as ever. She looked sort of impatient. Impatient for him to come? Maybe. He grinned. Aaron wasn't used to analyzing girls like this.
He drove up in front of her and leaned over to open the car door. He couldn't wait - this night was going to be fantastic. They'd probably have to sneak back in, but whatever. Aaron smiled at Aja, blue eyes sparkling, and greeted her. Hey. Long time no talk. Ew, lame. Why could he only act cool around girls he didn't like like?

You're moving but not aware You're drowsy without a care Except keeping your whites behind your lids And your lids are your best canvas . Aja had a long time to think while waiting for Aaron. She thought about how easily he had captured her heart. She didn't ever want him to let go. His blue eyes, black hair, and adorable piercings ran through her mind every night. Every minute. When she did her homework, at least once, she wrote his name down. His voice rang in her ears over and over again. She was aware of this. She knew what was happening. She was finally moving on. Moving on from Leon. Moving on with life. Aja needed this boost and she was getting it from this guy that had the cutest smile and the sweetest personality, to her anyways. He was a gentleman. He was kind to her. He paid, he opened doors, pulled out chairs. Anything. He was special.
Aja felt bad about him and Mariah, but it couldn't be helped. It wasn't her fault. She sighed quietly as she looked on. She saw him there. Standing, but as she blinked, his body disappeared. What would Leon say? Screw it. She didn't care what he said. She had to move on. Leon could date whoever he wanted and so could Aja. She felt a slight pang of guilt when she had met Aaron, but he was all she could think about now. He was gorgeous, after all. But then again, at this school, who wasn't? Aja shook the question away. She felt her phone vibrate again and she giggled as she answered her friend's text. They wanted to meet up but she told them about her "date" with Aaron. She always considered them that way.
She looked up and there he was. His face peeking through the window. A smile on his face. Instantly, her blue eyes lit up with excitement and a smile crept to her lips. She looked like a puppy whose owner had been on vacation for some time and finally came home to it. She stood up from her seat and strode over, her walk as though she owned the catwalk or the school. Either way, she was graceful. A slender arm reached out to catch the door that was popped open for her. "Thank you." Her response was short, for now. She slid into the seat beside the blue-eyed boy and looked at him, eyeing his clothes, his hair, his eyes, pretty much everything. He was hot. She blushed slightly and averted her eyes. "Yeah, it's been a while." she responded.
"How're you?" she asked him. It was kind of awkward now. Only twenty-five minutes ago, she had told him her deepest secret. It was loose and if he told anyone, she would be dead. If her father found out, he'd be outraged. If that guy was ever found, she'd be screwed. Life would just suck, really. Aja shook it off as she looked over at him, resting her elbow on the car door beside the window. She smiled, not letting it falter. This was all surreal to her. The boy next to her. The car. She was going to Great Falls Park with him, for God's sakes. She had to lighten up. This kid was amazing so far and she only hoped this day would get better. She wanted to explode and tell him how she felt, but that would be....creepy.

Aaron was, in one word, whipped. Totally whipped. He'd never ever felt this way about a girl before. Even with Mariah, she hadn't been in his mind every other second. You could say Aaron was obsessed with Aja. But he tried not to show it, because if he did he'd most likely creep her out. He sighed and watched her get into the car, wondering why he was so into her. Because she's freakin' perfect. And it was true. She thanked him politely, and Aaron watched her thoughtfully. Her blue eyes looked up at him, and their gazes connected for a second before she looked down, blushing. He grinned, blushing too. What the fuck? Aaron Cherry did not blush. Never had, in his memory. Except for that time...never mind. The point was Aaron did not blush...but in the past two days, he'd blushed many times, every time because of Aja. She had an effect on him that no other girl had had. Her eyes, her smile, her laugh...it was crazy. He shook his head and began to drive out of the parking lot. Glancing at the clock, he smirked. Curfew for students was in half an hour. They would have to sneak back in - but he didn't care.
As she asked how he was, Aaron realized he needed to hype up the....Aaron-ness. He wasn't acting like himself at all. If they started steadily going out (which he wished would happen so badly, it wasn't even funny) she'd need to know the other side of Aaron - the predominant side. The manwhore side. He couldn't trick her into thinking he was a perfect gentleman - even though that seemed to be working, he knew it made their relationship unstable. And a little flirting wouldn't hurt, right? He grinned as he merged onto the small road that led to the trail to go up to the river.
I'm great, now that I'm with you. Smiling, he glanced at her. Maybe she didn't like guys like him. But she had to know what he was really like. For once, Aaron wanted to tell the truth to a girl. Because, as earlier mentioned, he was whipped. He wanted to please her, but didn't want to lie to her either.

Do you catch a breath When I look at you Are you holding back Like the way I do
As she sat in his car, she fidgeted slightly. She was rather uncomfortable, which was odd. Aja was never, ever uncomfortable around guys. She was like...a whore, with a sweeter personality? Did those even exist? Aja shook her head and looked at Aaron. She caught his eye once and she grinned softly and blushed, turning to look out the window. She wanted to say something, but she was too nervous. Her toe tapped nervously in her shoes and it made herself wonder. She had never reacted to anyone like this and she had a feeling that this boy was special. She smirked to herself. No boy had ever been special enough to be with Aja for more than a month's time. However, Leon had broken that and hopefully this would be the second.
As he responded, it brought a small, sly smile to her face. She looked over at him, both their blue eyes locking. It was too cute. It was a kodak moment, but without the film. She was lost for words. Did he like her? Or was he just flirting around? She wished it wasn't so hard to figure out. She felt like a little kitten. Its owner dangled string in front of it and right when it pounced, the owner pulled it away causing the cat to fall. She felt like that little cat. She sighed inaudibly and left the thought alone. She looked at him without any words, but she giggled slightly at his answer. She was silent the rest of the drive and watched as the car pulled into the parking lot of the park. Aja smiled, loving nature. Her blue eyes glanced around before she opened the car door.
She stood outside the car and stretched a bit, looking as though she was ready to go for an olympic sport. She shrugged and looked over at Aaron with a smug look before bounding off with a loving look in her eyes. She made her way down a dirt path towards the water's edge. She peeked over her shoulder, catching Aaron's eye again. She smiled, hoping he got the message and would follow her. She kept going, her long legs taking her quickly towards the water. She got closer and closer and as she reached the rippling water, she took a seat under the tree sprouting out of the ground. Its strong branches hung over the water's edge and she rested against the tree trunk. It made her seem tiny and fragile against its strong, large frame.
Aja giggled and stretched her feet out in front of her, looking up to find Aaron. His smile was plastered in her mind and she couldn't get it out of there. She loved the kid, a lot. She could honestly say that. What was she supposed to do? She met this kid and he melted her heart instantly. She never knew what love was except maybe Leon, but she was ready to move on from that. She was done with Leon and she wanted something new. It had been almost a year since she last dated and being single wasn't fun to her. She had lost interest in sleeping around, though she never exactly had sex with anyone. She sighed quietly and waited for him, her blue eyes looking eager and soft.
