welcome to tulsa's house of night. or you can say, the house of vampyres. vampyres have existed for as long as we can remember. they have lived alongside humans for years in somewhat peace. scientists can prove that vampyres are real, because a vampyre's body is way more different then an ordinary human's. their body metabolism, and the way their brain worked, was so much more sophisticated then an average human. and it wouldn't be too hard to convince the doubtful human that vampyres do exist. i mean, you wouldn't think that someone freakishly pale with a dark sapphire colored crescent moon planted in the middle of their forehead, walking around at night time only. it just doesn't work that way. humans have become imprints to vampyres for years upon years. it is easier that way for vampyres to get their blood they need and have a very strong bond with someone. cats roam free around the campus. they are said to be the favorite and most trustworthy animals of nyx. you can have a pet cat if you would like, but you cant just go running after one. the cat chooses the fledgling, not the other way around.
things have been stranger then usual at the house of night. danger is lurking in the shadows, and an evil is waiting to rise. could it be the end of the house of night? will you choose to be on the human side, or get marked and be on the vampyre side? will you follow the destiny that nyx has laid out for you?
