When you're looking in, Hollywood seems like everything you could want: money, fashion, and glamor. And of course it is just that - to some extent! The city has it's dreamers and non-believers. There are the people who want to be the next face you see on Seventeen and Elle magazines, and ones who want to be on the top of the billboards. And of course you have those who are just along for the ride, hoping to catch a quick fifteen minutes of fame. Whatever it is there is no stopping them! They will get kicked down - more than once. They will have friends to pick them up, and friends who want to see them fall. Some will crash and burn, while others will rise to the top. Some will forget passion and go for the money. Others will have all the passion in the world, but never get the chance to show it. Big dreams will be just a memory by the end, and new ones will begin.
But when you're the one who's on the inside you see the true story: drama, drugs, backstabbers, and dirty secrets. And the people of Los Angeles are figuring it out way too fast! You have young girls locking themselves away; hating themselves because they aren't a size two, while others were blessed with gorgeous features. People who you thought you could trust can become the reason for let down. Teenagers who once had big dreams are quickly wasting away into the Hollywood Party scene, and some are finding it extremely hard to stay true to themselves. It doesn't matter if you live upon the hill top mansions or in the scum of downtown Los Angeles. Everything you do and everything you are is all apart of the La La Land appeal.
