mother's day sucks. it meant he had to go shopping in random girl boutiques. that attracted looks - a seventeen-year-old-boy with two lip piercings exiting the general store and walking into bath and body works and the likes. ugh. even father's day was better than this - he could just pop into anywhere for whatever and leave. but this - standing around looking at perfumes and lotions and necklaces - was ridiculous. why couldn't there be a children's day? aaron knew what his mother would say. ''every day is kid's day - we buy stuff for you, we drive you places...'' haha. he could drive himself now.
aaron sighed and gave dirty looks to the sophomore prep who was staring at him with a raised eyebrow and the giggling twelve-year-olds. hadn't they heard of mother's day? for god's effing sake, he was being nice. what was their problem? aaron ran his hand through his hair and grabbed a 'moonlight path' scented basket and a small pack of random makeup before striding over to the cash register, beating the prep there. he resisted the urge to stick his tongue out at her.
the cashier was pretty hot. and aaron had a good concept of hot. she'd never take him, though - she was obviously college-age. and he was sure he'd seen her at the clubs he'd snuck into. but still. the short spiky pink highlighted hair and bright green eyes were pretty cool.
once he'd paid and gotten his - no, his mother's - stuff into a plastic bag, he grabbed his receipt, thanked the cashier with a dazzling look through his dark lashes, and loped quickly out the door. once out into the fresh air, he sighed. no gross incense or flowery smell here. hm, maybe he should get some coffee at the next-door starbucks...aaron grinned and turned to his left, sneezing as he turned the corner. ''did you know you can't sneeze with your eyes open?'' his little sister had told him just the other day. well, she was right, because just as he sneezed he slammed into a soft body. the girl was maybe five foot two, maybe five foot five? around that height. he put his free hand out on her shoulder automatically before stepping away, glancing for real at the girl.
it was aja thompson. she also went to darmon. he knew everyone at the school by name, but he'd never spoken to aja. he'd been watching her for a while, though - she was amazing-looking. her beautiful dark hair had always captivated him - and her clear blue eyes; gorgeous. and her body was so perfect, and she was just so cute.
he grinned and cleared his throat. sorry, honey. didn't see you there. aaron ran his hand through his hair again and blinked at her, this time taking a real close-up look. wow. just...wow.

California show me love Get buzzed; let's get fucked up Aja sighed as she walked down the streets, looking here and there into different shops. She stepped inside the Betsey Johnson boutique. Thank God they had one of those. Betsey Johnson was just as unique as she was. She grinned to herself as she stepped in, looking around. She headed straight for her favorite rack and looked through dress after dress. She wanted to try something on, she really did, but she had just eaten and she always felt gross if she tried things on. She giggled and moved over to the jewelry cases. She took one glance at the necklace hanging there with anchors and lightning bolt charms on it and grabbed it. She loved it. It was cute, random, and...pricey. She smirked to herself and held it to her chest, looking around some more. She couldn't just leave this store with one item. She always left with two or three....or ten. She smiled and looked at some earrings.
There was so much to choose from here. It was her favorite store. However, today was a relaxed day and she decided just to purchase that one necklace. She smiled as she handed the cashier her credit card. Her manicured nails tapped against the glass counter as she waited patiently, looking around at the pink-painted walls. This was her home. She came to this shop once a week and the workers already knew her and left her alone to shop in peace. She thanked the girl and took the pink bag. In a flash, she was out of the store. The next one approached her as quickly as the first. She stepped into the Juicy Couture store as if she owned the place, which she practically did. She didn't like the clothing as much, but she loved their accessories.
Aja felt at home as she wandered around. She stopped in front of the full-length mirror and looked at her reflection. She wore a pair of white skinny jeans under a black tunic with a huge bow on the front. She looked as though she had stepped out of a magazine, despite her "scene" makeup. Her brown hair was teased as usual and gave her an edgier look. She eyed a purse, but she decided that maybe she didn't need to buy anymore items today. She shrugged and looked at her reflection one more time before adjusting her hair. She fluffed it up and then made her way out of the store. She held her iPhone in one hand, looking through her text messages. She was expecting something, but she got nothing.
Her Betsey Johnson bag hung on the crook of her arm and she dropped her phone back into it. She heard the familiar clink of it hitting her makeup bag. Aja's eyes fell into the street, watching the little cars pass by. She was in her own world before suddenly it all came to a halt. Someone had smashed into her. Or, rather, she had ran into someone. She paid more attention, looking at who she caused pain to this time. It was a dark-haired boy. With the blue eyes and the familiar snakebites. Her stomach did backflips as she looked him up and down. This was that blue-eyed boy in her year that she saw almost everyday when she was on her way to the theatre. He was even more gorgeous up close, and his eyes. They were stunning.
His grin made a shiver run up her back and she smiled softly. "Sorry I should've been watching." She giggled softly and automatically ran a hand through her hair. It was a nervous habit. "I'm Aja, by the way. What's your name?" she asked inquisitively. She hoped his name was just as cute as he was.

Aaron was almost always taken, by the next girl. He made sure he was. But now he was single and looking, and Aja seemed like the perfect girl. For real this time. He stared at her, shaking his head to pull himself out of his reverie. It almost didn't work. Aaron arched a brow as he looked her over...maybe they should sit down somewhere to talk. Whoa. Don't move too fast; you'll scare her off. He wanted her to stay. He wanted her in general. Aaron looked her over--perfect. Perfect, perfect, perfect. With her beautiful wavy dark hair, piercing eyes, and hot bod, she was better than any guy could ask for. Her clothes fit her frame perfectly. I bet those clothes would look even better off of her, he thought, and his smile evolved into a full-fledged grin.
Aaron smirked playfully at her giggle and ran his hand through his hair again as she did the same thing. For him and his brother, it was a nervous habit. Maybe it was for her too? If so...that meant he made her nervous. His grin widened, telling her he knew something she didn't. His blue eyes locked with hers, and a mischievous glint appeared in his turquoise orbs. He wished she'd talk to him, be friends with him, and maybe even more. This girl seemed amazing, and he wanted to find out more - much more - about her. She was different. Aaron would not let her go. He didn't want to seem stalker-ish...but Aja...there was something that attracted him to her. Something he couldn't ignore. She was hot. She was sexy. She was...indescribable.
He wanted to ask her if she was single, and if not, sweep her off her feet right that second. But again, he didn't want to scare her off, either. So Aaron stood there awkwardly until he realized she'd asked him a question while he was zoning out. Uh... he tried to recall what she'd said. Oh! I'm Aaron, he finally responded, flashing his trademark smirk again. Of course he knew her name was Aja, but she didn't know that he knew that. Even her name was cute. Aaron resisted sighing and tried to compose himself.
He'd never acted this way with a girl before - usually he was confident, cool, composed. But...he was whipped. He'd known her for two seconds and he was whipped. Trying to hide it, Aaron widened his grin. Yeah, you should've paid more attention, he joked, still gazing into her eyes. Oh God...what was he going to do?
sorry, horrible >.<

Watching me, like you never watched no one. Don't try and tell me that you didn't try to check out my bum, Cause I know that you did, cause your friend told me that you liked it. All of Aja's friends knew her as the heartbreaker. It was her personal nickname. Lately, however, she couldn't find guys. Between acting, school work, and parties, there was no time to settle down with one. So why not many? She fucked with boys' minds and hurt them, but none of them went to Darmon so it was ok. She hadn't had a real boyfriend since Leon. Her heart was broken and it killed her inside to see boys. She cheated on them because of him. It was what she had become. She shook her head, her dark, brown hair falling around her face. She glanced around, wondering if there was anyone else. It seemed as though he froze time. No one was really around. She had to double-take at this boy. He was way too cute. For sure he wasn't talking to her.
Aja felt like this was all fake. Someone this cute with gorgeous, blue eyes couldn't be talking to her. Her bags got heavy and she shifted them to the other arm. She didn't know what to say to him really. She listened to him answer her question. Aaron. That was a cute name. She grinned and nodded at his name. She couldn't manage to say anything else. Aja was silent for a few moments, running her hand through her hair again. She watched his smile widen once again. He was way too cute. A small smile pierced her lips and her green eyes stayed focused on his. Why was her stomach doing backflips? Aja was used to guys, but none like this. He was adorable and at school, a lot of theatre girls labeled him as "scene."
Oh yeah, the theatre girls knew everyone. She shrugged and ignored the thought. It didn't matter what he was. Cliques never mattered anymore. You could ask Aja. She was the scene queen at the school and she dated Leon who was a law student. She dated a few jocks, and she even dated a Mathematics student. She was all over the place. It was so awkward. The last time she felt like this was when she talked to Leon and that was almost two weeks ago. Could she be falling for this kid? She barely even knew him. Her joked with her and she giggled softly. Everyone told her she sounded like a toddler. She didn't mind. It was cute and that was all that mattered. "Heh. Sorry about that," she grinned.
Aja looked around. They were right beside the Starbucks coffee shop. Instantly, an idea popped into her mind. Maybe he would want to talk to her. She wanted to know more. She wanted to know if he was single. He was so gorgeous...maybe he wouldn't be. "Hey, do you want to sit and get some coffee?" Her question was genuine and sweet. Her eyes never left his face. His piercings captured her at the beginning and at school, she always saw his sleek, black hair and those perfect, blue eyes. It was as if he was sent by God to be her boy. Her man. The one boy that would keep her and make her happy forever. He was really cute. How many more times did she need to say that? Thank God she ran into him. She silently thanked God for making her attention span short.
Her Sidekick buzzed and she grabbed it out of her bag, flipping it open and excusing herself for a second. She scanned the text and clenched her jaw, slamming her phone shut. She was sick of her father and didn't want to hear it from him anymore. However, looking back up at Aaron made her relax and forget about it.

Aaron grinned at her response. No problem, he murmured while studying her. Perfect. He couldn't stop thinking the word. He'd seen Aja around school - she was the "scene" queen. It was strange, because he was sort of the scene king - he knew everyone and everyone knew him. He was just...Aaron. And she was...perfect. He couldn't stop thinking it - short attention spans could get to you. Aaron stared at her, not caring if he looked like a pervert, trying to memorize her face. p-e-r-f-e-c-t. Perfect. Ugh you dumbass. Lack of word choice much? Aaron shook his head at himself as his smirk transformed into a mopey grin. Never before had he felt like this--never. Yes, it was strange, but Aaron had never been one for love. Maybe now was the time. Maybe nothing but sex got to a guy after awhile. Maybe he should tell her how he felt? Nah, that would sound really weird.
Aaron shook his head again as she giggled. It was unbelievably cute. He wanted to grab her and kiss her - but everyone thought he was a manwhore already. Not that he'd object to that. But he didn't need to go to juvy for assaulting a random girl. His dopey grin morphed into a teasing smirk again - every time something amused him, he smiled at the person in front of them as if he knew something they didn't - which was true.
Aaron realized he was zoning out, and blinked to refocus his vision. I should know that spacing while someone is talking is rude. His smirk widened as he came back to his senses, and then a horrible thought came to him. What if...what if she wasn't single? Oh, great. He wouldn't be able to bear it if she was taken. She was beautiful, and she seemed like she had a personality. And there was something...mysterious about her. Like she was keeping a secret. She was sort of too bubbly. But maybe it was just Aaron's imagination working too hard.
But from the way she was speaking to him, and the question that she'd just asked him...maybe she was single! His smirk widened into a real smile, his blue eyes sparkling. Okay. Don't act too eager. He had to make her work for him. It always worked...but maybe this once he shouldn't, just to see how it would work out. This time was different. So he ran his hand through his hair and responded with a Sure! I'd love to. Actually, he'd more than love to. At this point, he'd do anything she asked. He would lie down and die if she wanted him to.
Aaron watched as she pulled something out of her bag - a Sidekick. Rich, of course. As were all the other students at Darmon, including him. She was now reading the text - her reaction wasn't too happy. Her jaw clenched and she slammed the phone shut. Aaron cocked his head, confused, but didn't ask any questions. She looked relaxed again by the time she turned back to him. So...let's go, he said, for once not asking what the text had said and who it was from out of curiosity. He had to control himself - so Aaron turned, and, making sure she was beside him, walked into the coffee shop.

We're on the bed, but our clothes are laying right there. Now I was thinking of ways that I could get inside. Tonight we're fallin' in love. Aja couldn't wipe the smile that stuck on her face. It was impossible. This boy was simply adorable and she would die if she found out he had a girlfriend. And why wouldn't he? He had the gorgeous, ebony hair, he was probably rich like the rest of the Darmon population, and he had those blue jay eyes that pierced your heart and warmed it. The snakebites were cute and reminded her that she kept forgetting to wear her one-sided lip piercing. She ignored these thoughts as she stared at him. She reminded herself of a hungry wolf eyeing its prey. Except, this time there was no time for eating her prey or seducing and destroying. This boy was all for herself and if she couldn't have him, then no one could. Damn straight.
She watched his smile form into a cute grin as she had giggled. It was cute. She barely knew this guy for more than fifteen minutes and they already hit it off so well. A bit of pink crept to her cheeks and she averted her eyes for a few minutes before returning them back up to him. Aja brushed a bit of her hair behind her ear, keeping it there. Her question was still hanging in the air for a few minutes, wondering if he'd answer her. Maybe it was too abrupt? Maybe he had to run off to meet his girl somewhere so he couldn't stay. She had eyed the bag he was carrying, afterall. She couldn't jump to conclusions. It was Mother's Day.
It was cute that he thought of her if that was for his mom. His answer was enough to make her squeal and hug him, but Aja wasn't that perky. She smiled and nodded. She didn't really know what to say. For the first time, a boy had made her speechless ever since Leon and Aja had ended. She turned her head for a moment as she read the text. Her reaction was short-lived and she didn't ever want a text from her father again. She threw her phone back in her bag and had a tiny smile on her face. It was kind of forced but she shrugged off her dad and had a natural smile afterwards. She nodded at his suggestion. "Yeah...sorry about that." She wasn't sure why she had apologized, but she did it anyways. She was used to constantly apologizing sometimes.
She followed him into the shop and stood in line beside him, gazing him over now that they were even closer. It was their turn in line and she ordered her usual Green Tea Lemonade. She waited at the pick-up where her ex-boyfriend was working. She looked at him for a split-second and he gave her a dirty look. He wasn't from Darmon, obviously. He had attended public school forever and they met in middle school before she came to Darmon. She snatched up her drink and grabbed a straw as he tried to say something to her. She looked at Aaron, him following her gaze. It was just a thing to make him feel like he wasn't hers anymore. She picked a table for two beside the window, waiting for Aaron.
She really wanted to get to know him better. He seemed rather nice and she hoped she was right. She had heard of him being a manwhore, but at this school, who wasn't? She was a whore, she'd admit that. But she had started to tone it down lately and just take guys as they came to her, not when she was drunk or needed something to be there for five minutes.

Aaron grinned back at her. Her smile was beautiful, too - was there anything bad about this girl? He doubted it. A girl with clear blue eyes and a smile like that couldn't be any less flawless than an angel. He stared at her, and she looked back. Wow. If she wasn't single, he was going to have to kill himself. Maybe literally. But, the way she acted - the way she giggled, the way she was looking at him, the way she smiled, the way she held herself - it didn't seem like she was taken.
He noticed her glancing at the bag and held it up, rolling his eyes. It's for my mom, my dad made me buy it. Flashing a smile, he

No problem... he murmured as she flipped her phone closed. Strange - he wondered who was texting her. He'd never thought so deeply about a girl before - for the first time ever, Aaron Cherry was whipped. And whipped good, before he could even get to know the girl. Fifteen minutes and he knew she was perfect.
He noticed her glancing at the bag and held it up, rolling his eyes. It's for my mom, my dad made me buy it. Flashing a fake smile, he swung the bag around his wrist. He hated his parents. Hated, hated, hated them. They were both stupid drunks who had nothing better to do than in his father's case beat him up, and in his mother's case scream at him then sit down and cry. They were on the verge of divorce. And Darmon was only a couple miles from their home - Aaron wished they were farther away. Every time there was a break he had to generate huge excuses to not go home. He sighed and walked with Aja, not taking his eyes off of her as they reached the coffee shop.
They walked into the shop, and Aaron held the door open for her, grinning. Here you go, ma'am. They stood in the short line in silence, and he kept stealing glances at her, blushing and averting his eyes when she noticed her staring back at him. Wow. He was supposed to be mister cool-headed. But she had him vexed. Aaron shook his head in wonder as she ordered, asking for a Frappucino himself - mocha. That was his Starbucks favorite. He glanced at Aja quickly before saying, I'll pay and handing the cashier a ten. It was the oldest trick in the book - and Aaron always used it to get the girl to think he was a gentleman. But for once, he was doing it because he wanted to. Not to please someone else. Well, that was part of it. Taking his receipt and change, he followed Aja to the pick-up counter.
Aaron followed her gorgeous blue gaze, which had turned threatening and angry, and saw a guy about their age - average-looking. An ex? Or was she just mean? He pushed the thought out of his mind and grinned. Probably an ex. Following her to the table, he slid into the seat across from Aja and stared into her almost translucent eyes. After a few seconds, he realized he should probably say something. He blinked and shook his head before running his hand through his hair. Uh...sorry...just got a bit distracted there. He smiled, embarrassed. Wait. Since when was Aaron embarrassed? Shut up. Since now. He kept grinning at Aja, trying to think of something to say.
Finally he asked the easiest question he could think of. So...what department and year are you in?

You don't wanna step on up, We leave the club fucked up. She giggled as he tried to explain the bags he carried from Bath and Body Works. Her smile was genuine and her blue eyes twinkled as she listened to him. Hmmm, a boy who loves his mother...maybe. Or enough to buy her something. It's cute. She thought. She didn't know his family status so she didn't say much. She nodded, thinking about her own mother. She was dead and now she had a replacement mother, but Liz was just as great as a mother. She was sweet and loved the kids even thought Aja wasn't exactly her own daughter. She was a step-daughter. But it didn't matter. Liz took care of Aja's needs and soon her father would be out of the picture. The family was waiting for it. Liz wanted to leave, but she couldn't leave Aja. Instead, her father had decided to go off and live in Paris for a few months for a new movie.
It would probably be another year before he came home, which was fine with all the family's members. They didn't love their father anymore. They couldn't. It was just too hard when he didn't care about the girls anymore. He had always wanted a son and never got one. Aja didn't care. Liz would always be there for the girls. As they walked to the coffee shop, she noticed his eyes were glued to her. She blushed slightly and look at him out of the corner of her eye from behind her dark hair. She smiled to herself and went into the shop. She thanked him as he held the door open for her. She was about to reach for her wallet, but he paid for her. She giggled and thanked him once again. He truly was being a gentleman towards her.
Her smile faded as she went to the counter, but she took a seat and looked up at him. She blushed and chuckled. "It's ok."
she responded. She gazed at him with her blue eyes, taking him in. He was adorable and she didn't know what else to say about him. She shrugged and took a sip of her drink. It was energizing to her. She woke up pretty much when she drank it. His question ran through her mind and she had to think about it for a few minutes. Oh, it was an easy question, but she was a bit tired. She smiled and responded, finally. "I'm a second year in the acting department. What about you?" she asked him. She giggled at her response though. People always thought Aja was conceited because she was in theatre and she got a lot of good parts. Last year they had done Hairspray as their first musical and she had gotten the role of Tracy. She smiled at the thought. She loved getting lead roles and then their second musical they had actually done Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. She had landed herself the role of Veruca Salt, the spoiled brat from England. She loved that part. It had been one of her favorites, seeing as she rarely played a bratty little bitch. That was kind of what she was in reality, but she wasn't that mean. She just hated a lot of people that hurt her.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
